LUANN COLLIN
LuAnn Collin (nee Grass) was born in Elmhurst, to the late George and Lucille Grass. She passed away May 15, 2019.
LuAnn was preceded in death by her husband, John Collin; and daughter, Ann. She was the loving mother of John (Mary) Collin, Beth Young, and Rabecca Collin (Dawn Regnier); cherished grandmother of 5; dear sister of the late Roland Grass, the late Robert Grass, the late Lois Morris (nee Grass), Loretta Grass and Mary Jo Grass; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
LuAnn was a loyal Cubs fan and served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a nurse. LuAnn continued her nursing career at Good Samaritan Hospital where she was employed for over 25 years.
The Collin family is holding a memorial service at the Church of St. Francis, 12 W. School St., Villa Park, on May 25, 2019, at 10 a.m. A memorial luncheon will follow from 12-4 p.m. at Pinstripes, 7 Oakbrook Center Oak Brook.

A memorial Mass for Marguerite “Peg” Majerchin, nee Vint, age 88, formerly of Lombard, will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 10:15 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Church, 330 N. Westmore, Villa Park.

DOROTHY ANN SCHWEIHS
Dorothy Ann Schweihs, age 89, formerly of Villa Park, passed away on April 13, 2019.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 24, 2019, 10:15 a.m., at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park.

RICHARD A. WATTS
Richard A. Watts, age 86 of Lombard, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019.
Richard was the beloved husband of the late Joyce, nee Scatena, Watts. He was the loving father of the late Cynthia McCrea, the late Nancy Watts, the late Thomas Watts, Patricia (the late Dennis) Rosone, Kathryn (George) Cady, and Sandra (James) Wolgemuth. Richard was the fond grandfather of Richard (Natalie), Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth, Thomas, Andrew, Nicholas, Michael (Susanne), Rachel, George, Amanda, Daniel, and Leela. He was a great-grandfather of 14.
He was also preceded in death by his parents the late George and the late Alma Watts Rupp, his stepfather the late William Rupp, his brother the late George “Paul” (the late Louise) Watts, and his brother-in-law the late Robert (Joan) Scatena.
Richard was born in Oak Park and grew up in Maywood, where he and Joyce became next-door neighbors at the age of 10. He graduated from Proviso East High School. Richard worked his entire career at BorgWarner and retired after 42 years of dedicated service. Richard and Joyce lived in Lombard for 53 years where they were very active in the St. Pius X Catholic Community. He served as a Grand Knight in the Father Boecker Council #6090 of the Knights of Columbus.
Additionally, Richard was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Rich was an avid gardener, and a loyal White Sox, Blackhawks, Bulls and Bears fan. He loved to sing and could come up with a song for just about every occasion. Richard’s loving, kind, and easy-going personality will be greatly missed.
Family and friends gathered Wednesday, May 22, 2019, for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Mooseheart, at mooseheart.org, would be greatly appreciated.

JOAN WYCKOFF
Joan Wyckoff nee Stauber, age 80, of Florida, formerly of Lombard, died May 14 at her home.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, May 18, at Brust Funeral Home. Interment followed at Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago.
Joan was the beloved wife of 48 years of Kent; loving mother of Jason Daniel (Kristi) of Tennessee and Scott Joel (Jennifer) of Florida; proud grandmother of Ella, Miles, Everett and Zachary.
Joan lived in Lombard from 1974-2018; she lived in Bradenton, Florida from 2018-present.
Joan graduated from Beloit College, in Wisconsin, with a B.S. in Math. She was a former teacher in School District 45 at Jefferson and Jackson Junior High Schools. She left teaching in 1975.
Joan enjoyed crafting and sewing.
