Addison and Villa Park Police Reports

Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

 

Addison

 

Oct. 26

Ever M. Ramos-Funes, 18, of Addison, was charged with DUI, no valid driver’s license and one headlight near Lake and Mill at around 1:48 a.m.

 

Oct. 23

Charles D. Mill, 72, of Johnston, Iowa, was charged with aggravated DUI subsequent to a traffic accident investigation near Mill and Stevens at around 6:42 p.m.

 

Oct. 22

Sebastian G. Zygmuntowicz, 36, of Roselle, was charged with criminal damage to property in the 1200 block of Gannon Drive, Hoffman Estates, at around 8:58 p.m. Police said an officer responded to the Hoffman Estates Police Department to transport Zygmuntowicz to the Addison Police Department, where he was charged.

 

Oct. 20

Santos E. Valenzo, 40, of Addison, was charged with aggravated DUI, DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following too closely and driving while license revoked near Lake and Mill at around 6:50 p.m.

Villa Park

 

Oct. 20

Shane B. McDonald, 27, of Glendale Heights, was charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, criminal damage to property and no insurance in the 600 block of W. James at around 4:51 a.m.

Burglary was reported in the 100 block of S. Villa. Police said an unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked unoccupied and stole a GPS sometime between 11:30 and 11:42 a.m.

 

Oct. 19

Jazzae Wilson, 28, of Chicago, was issued a local adjunction for retail theft at a store at around 12:06 p.m.

 

Oct. 17

Anadkumar B. Patel, 38, of Des Plaines, was issued a local adjunction for sale of alcohol to a minor at Villa Park Liquor and Tobacco at around 10:20 p.m.

Suchashchanda R. Patel, 62, of Carol Stream, was issued a local adjunction for sale of alcohol to a minor at 7-Eleven on Addison Road at around 9:56 p.m.

Theft was reported in the 400 block of N. Westmore at around 3:58 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect stole a package that was delivered and left on front step of a residence.

 

Oct. 16

A 28-year-old Villa Park man was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery in the 100 block of E. Maple at around 10:04 p.m.

A 27-year-old Glendale Heights man was charged with domestic battery, unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card, no valid driver’s license and no insurance in the 600 block of N. Lincoln at around 4:08 p.m.

Retail theft was reported at a store at around 4:30 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect removed items displayed for sale and left store without paying for items.

Retail theft was reported at a store at around 2:38 p.m. Police said unknown male suspects left store with tobacco product without paying for the items.

 

Oct. 14-Oct. 15

Theft of vehicle parts or accessories was reported in the 800 block of W. North. Police said an unknown suspect stole the grill of a vehicle parked on the frontage road sometime between 9 p.m. Oct. 14 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15.

 

Oct. 14

Criminal trespass to a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of N. Myrtle at around 11:50 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked unoccupied in a residential driveway and rummage through the vehicles’ contents.

 

Sept. 24

Theft was reported in the 200 block of W. Division at around 3 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect stole a package which was delivered and left on the front porch of a residence.
