Election Commission announces early voting, grace period registration

The DuPage County Election Commission is informing the voting public that early voting for the Nov. 6 General Election began on Thursday, Sept. 27 at the DuPage

County Election Commission office, located on the first floor of the Administration Building in the DuPage County Government Campus at 421 North County Farm Road in Wheaton.

Voters will be able to vote at other early voting polling places conveniently located throughout the County beginning Monday, Oct. 22 through Nov. 5. Locations in the Independent readership area include:

Elmhurst City Hall

209 N. York Rd., Elmhurst

Addison Township Office

401 N. Addison Rd., Addison

Hours at both locations are Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Voting services available

If any resident has changed their name or address, they may update their voter’s registration by Tuesday, Oct. 9, or by using grace period voting and registration. Two forms of identification are needed to register to vote; at least one form must display your current residential address.

Grace Period Voting will begin at the DuPage County Election Commission Office on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Extended grace period registration and voting will begin on Monday, Oct. 22 at the early voting polling places. Grace period registration and

voting will continue on Nov. 6 at your Election Day polling place. In addition, the

DuPage Election Commission will also be open for grace period registration and voting.
