Award-winning campers
The young campers in the Villa Park Parks and Recreation Department’s Junior and Adventure Summer Camp received awards last week. Friday’s camp session featured the Campers’ Choice Awards and talent show. The camp counselors created the awards and called the children onto the stage to receive their honors. Some of the award winners, pictured with camp counselor Matt Brookes, were (left to right) Daphne Moser, Eleanor Moser, James Gillespie, Brooklyn Stuart, Sienna Flamm, Aryel Carl and Ellie Samples.
