Assault, battery
July 15
A juvenile at Thornton’s, 515 W. North, advised at 12:18 a.m. that a male subject approached him and struck him several times. The subject fled the area.
July 13
A complainant at Extended Stay, 2701 Technology, advised at 2:23 p.m. that a subject pushed him. The subject denied pushing the complainant.

July 15
A complainant in the 2200 block of Fountain Square advised at 11:17 a.m. that the window on her Ford bus was damaged.
July 13
An employee at 7-Eleven, 801 S. Westmore-Meyers advised at 3:28 p.m. that a subject damaged the window after being told to leave the store. The subject agreed to pay for the damage.
July 14
A complainant at NTB, 1102 E. Roosevelt, advised at 4:16 a.m. that a subject attempted to gain entry to his vehicle causing damage.
Disorderly conduct
July 17
A complainant near Michael McGuire and Lincoln advised at 8:25 p.m. that a subject was yelling at commuters. The subject was told to stop.
Domestic battery, domestic incident, disturbance
July 17
A complainant in the 1-100 block of S. Chase advised at 10:13 a.m. that a subject struck him during a verbal argument. The subject left prior to an officer’s arrival.

A complainant at Kindercare, 1214 S. Westmore, advised at 4:20 p.m. that a subject threatened her.

Benigno Beltran-Flores, 27, of Addison, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control signal near North and Main at 11:54 p.m.
July 14
Michael Fromm, 60, of Lombard, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage near Washington and Ahrens at 11:42 p.m.
Denis Medina, 25, of Glendale Heights, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, speeding, no insurance and expired registration near North and Route 53 at 1:51 a.m.
July 12
Nick Catalano, 29, of Elmhurst, was charged with DUI, disobeying a traffic control signal and failure to carry his license near Finley and Oak Creek at 2:01 a.m.
Harassment, threats
July 13
A complainant in the 300 block of S. Westmore advised at 9:46 a.m. that they received harassing text messages from a subject.
Two complainants in the 500 block of E. Maple advised at 12:04 p.m. that they received harassing messages from a subject.

A complainant at Stoneleigh Recovery, 810 Oak Creek, advised at 4:02 p.m. that they received several texts from a subject. The complainant was advised to block her number.
July 11
A complainant in the 200 block of N. Craig advised at 4:21 p.m. that a subject posted personal photos of her on a website. An officer assisted the complainant with removing the photos from the site.
Missing person
July 15
A parent in the 1-100 block of N. Main advised at 11:52 a.m. that a juvenile left the residence on July 14 and has not returned.
Possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance
July 12
Vivica Edwards, 19, of Villa Park, and Lorado Sheppard, 24, of Hillside, were issued local ordinance violations for possession of cannabis at the Westin, 70 Yorktown, at 1:47 a.m.
Suspicious circumstances
July 17
An employee in the 400 block of E. Roosevelt advised at 12:29 p.m. that a subject requested a television to be shipped be insured. The employee inspected the television and found it to be damaged. The subject left prior to an officer’s arrival.
A complainant in the 2200 block of S. Stewart advised at 9:07 p.m. that a subject described as a white male followed her home from Mariano’s.
July 15
A complainant in the 2200 block of S. Grace advised at noon that the gas pump fell out of her gas tank spilling $90 worth of gas. An employee refused to refund the charge. The complainant was advised to dispute the charge.
A complainant in the 100 block of W. 17th advised at 1:08 a.m. that several underage subjects were consuming alcohol at a party. The subjects fled the scene. An officer made contact with the owner who advised he would respond and check the residence.
A complainant in the 400 block of S. Garfield advised at 10:05 p.m. observed a vehicle drive up and down the street several times. An officer found the vehicle unoccupied and parked legally.
July 14
An employee at Jared, 2370 Fountain Square, advised at 9:44 a.m. that two subjects wanted to view loose diamonds and Rolexes. An employee advised that a similar incident occurred in the Schaumburg store a day earlier.
July 13
A complainant at 7-Eleven, 346 S. Westmore, advised at 11:19 p.m. of drug activity in the area. The area was checked with no results.
July 12
A complainant in the 1100 block of S. Westmore advised at 7:49 a.m. that a male subject was sleeping outside of a school. The subject agreed to leave.
An employee at Harry Caray’s, 70 Yorktown, advised at 3:55 p.m. that a subject fled the scene after his card was declined.
July 11
An officer found several open doors at Yard House, 2301 Fountain Square, at 11:50 p.m. The officer checked the building and secured the doors.

July 17
Fraud was reported in the 300 block of W. Greenfield at 10:31 a.m. A complainant advised that a credit card was taken from the mail and used for unauthorized purchases.
Retail theft was reported at Spencer’s, 129 Yorktown, at 2 p.m. An employee advised that a male subject had taken a dance pole kit and fled the store.
Retail theft was reported at Zales, 203 Yorktown, at 2:17 p.m. An employee advised that a subject reached over the counter, removed a ring and left the store without paying.
Theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Ahrens at 2:32 p.m. A complainant advised that a bottle of prescription medication was taken from the residence.
July 15
Burglary to a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of W. St. Charles at 9:23 a.m. A complainant advised the battery was removed from her vehicle.
Retail theft was reported at Target, 60 Yorktown. A complainant advised that a subject described as a white female had taken Crest white strips, Rogaine and Alli at 6:30 p.m. July 14 and left the store without paying.
A juvenile was charged with retail theft at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown, at 2:53 p.m., transported to the Lombard Police Station and released on I-bond to a parent.
July 14
Emily Fernandez, 19 of Chicago, and Maricela Lopez, 41, of Chicago, were charged with retail theft at JC Penney, 175 Yorktown, at 5:47 p.m.
Theft was reported in the 100 block of W. Park at 6:54 a.m. A complainant advised that a subject had taken her security camera.
An employee at CVS, 1005 E. Roosevelt, advised at 6:45 p.m. that a subject described as a white male and a subject described as a white female damaged a secured case and removed several boxes of whitening strips in a bag. An employee confronted the subjects who then returned the merchandise. The subjects fled the store.
Two juveniles were charged with retail theft at JC Penney, 175 Yorktown, at 7:47 p.m., transported to the Lombard Police Department and released on I-bonds to a parent.
Theft was reported at Sonesta Es Suites, 2001 S. Highland, at 11:01 a.m. A complainant advised that a camera and lenses were taken from the bag he kept next to the bed.
July 13
Dominique Parker, 26, and Deanna Parker, 46, both of Bellwood, were charged with retail theft at JC Penney, 175 Yorktown, at 7:38 p.m.
Ariyanna Reynolds, 19, and Deliah B. Cox, 32, both of Chicago, were charged with retail theft at Forever Young, 300 Yorktown, at 7:54 p.m.
Fraud was reported at the Helen Plum Library, 110 W. Maple, at 3:31 p.m. A complainant advised she purchased a phone offered on Offer Up and learned the phone was locked and stolen. The complainant was unable to make contact with the seller.
July 12
Laura Tirado, 68, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft at Von Maur, 145 Yorktown, at 4:08 p.m.
Theft of a vehicle was reported at International Car Center, 434 E. North, at 4:24 p.m. An employee advised that a subject did not return a vehicle after his check was returned for insufficient funds.
Fraud was reported in the 400 block of N. Vista at 8:36 p.m. A complainant advised her debit card was used for unauthorized transactions.
Forgery was reported at Highland Pharmacy, 2340 S. Highland, at 5:26 p.m. An employee advised that a subject presented a forged prescription and an identification card belonging to an owner.
Identity theft was reported in the 300 block of W. Maple at 9:12 a.m. A complainant advised that his personal information was used to open a Comcast account.
July 11
Jamie Tijerina, 24, and Mireya Zamudio, 19, both of Chicago, were charged with retail theft at JC Penney, 175 Yorktown, at 7:19 p.m. Police said Zamudio also posted cash bond on an Orland Park Police Department warrant.
Theft was reported at Senor Jalapeno, 436 S. Main, at 10:20 a.m. An employee advised that a subject had taken cash from the register. The employee requested an officer stand by while the subject was terminated.
Retail theft was reported at Marshalls, 102 Yorktown, at 3:45 p.m. An employee advised that a male juvenile had taken merchandise and attempted to leave the store. The employee confronted the subject who returned the merchandise and then fled.
Burglary was reported in the 100 block of E. Hickory at 1:35 p.m. A complainant advised that a wallet belonging to a victim was taken from a vehicle parked in the garage.
Fraud was reported at Mariano’s, 345 W. Roosevelt, at 2 p.m. A complainant advised that a victim’s credit card information was used for unauthorized purchases.
Theft was reported in the 600 block of W. North at 7:26 p.m. A complainant advised that his wallet was taken from his pocket.
Warrant arrest
July 14
Police said the Kane County Sheriff’s Department advised of the arrest of Salvatore Lobello, 45, of St. Charles, on a Lombard Police Department original complaint for two counts of home repair fraud. Lobello was transported to the Lombard Police Department and transferred to DuPage County Jail.
Police said Jan Thomas, 56, of Bensenville, was taken into custody on a Cook County Sheriff’s warrant near North and Route 53 at 1:30 p.m. Thomas was transported to the Lombard Police Department, booked and released on cash bond.
VILLA PARK

July 14
Criminal damage was reported in the 300 block of N. Yale at 4:39 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect threw a rock and broke a window on a home in the area.
July 13
Gaudencio Rico-Baron, 42, of Villa Park, was charged with DUI, driving while license suspended and no insurance in the 800 block of W. North at 10:10 p.m.
Skarka T. Brisco, 41, of Villa Park, was charged with obstructing identification, driving while license suspended and no insurance near North and Kramer at 9:48 p.m.
Joseph M. Leeberg, 54, of Spencer, Indiana, was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident near Sunset and Addison at 2:51 p.m.
A male juvenile from Villa Park was charged with two counts of domestic battery between 2:05 and 2:10 a.m.

Lee R. Hoffman, 55, of Rochelle, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and no insurance near Roosevelt and Michigan at 5:38 p.m.

Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1-100 block of N. Harvard Police said an unknown suspect punched out three door locks and took $27 in cash from a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot sometime between the above dates.

Gary L. Burns, 59, of Oak Brook, was charged with retail theft in the 900 block of S. Route 83 at 2:59 p.m.
Moises A. Guzman, 20, of Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and retail theft at Jewel at 9:17 p.m.
July 10
Ryan Saco, 22, of Elmhurst, was charged with aggravated DUI while license suspended in the 300 block of E. St. Charles at 4:40 p.m.
Battery was reported in the 900 block of S. Route 83 at 11:31 p.m. Police said two female suspects approached an employee and began to punch and kick them. The suspects left the scene on foot.
July 9
Robert Lee Hudson Jr., 18, of Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, while Jerome Melton, 18, of Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, criminal trespass to a vehicle, no valid driver’s license, no valid registration and no insurance in the 200 block of N. Westmore at 12:56 a.m.
July 8
Retail theft was reported in the 400 block of W. North at 2:05 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect left with a cart full of merchandise without paying for it.
Retail theft was reported in the 100 block of W. Roosevelt at 10:15 a.m. Police said two unknown female suspects took merchandise without paying.
July 4
Erik Hurtado, 26, of Melrose Park, was issued local adjunctions for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia near Route 83 and St. Charles at 12:25 a.m.
June 18
Theft was reported in the 1100 block of Ovaltine at 2:03 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect stole a package ordered from eBay that was delivered.
