UCCA to host ‘Taste of the Town: Food for Life’

United Community Concerns Association will host the 2nd annual Taste of the Town: Food for Life, an Elmhurst food and drink sampling event. It will take place on Thursday, May 17, from 6-10 p.m. at Wilder Mansion. The evening will showcase food, wine, and beer tastings from 17 Elmhurst businesses, along with cooking demonstrations by local chefs, and live music provided by the Clay Corso Trio.

Proceeds from the event will benefit UCCA, an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that has provided food to Elmhurst Community School District 205’s children and families in need. Last year, UCCA provided more than $76,000 in food to almost 300 families and 85 seniors as we worked to strengthen our community by ending hunger.

Tickets are $60 per person in advance, or $70 at the door. Visit ucca-elmhurst.org to purchase tickets online or send payment to UCCA, 125 W. Church St., Elmhurst, 60126.
