Timothy Christian student-athletes sign college letters of intent.

Timothy Christian recently held its athletic signing day in its Brandsma Family Foundation Room in the upper level of the Ward Athletic Center.

Eleven Timothy student-athletes are moving on to play in college, two of whom have scholarships at NCAA Division I and II schools.

Jimmy Allen will play baseball at Division I Western Michigan University. Allen is an all-state player who is a three-time all-conference selection.

Brandon Orange will play basketball at Wheaton College. Orange is an all-conference selection and has a conference MVP crown to his credit.

Nick Huisman will play baseball at Division II Lewis University in Romeoville, while Connor Gwaltney will play baseball at Knox College.

Michael Thomas is headed to Carthage College to play basketball, while Michael Martens is headed to Wheaton College as well where he will play soccer.

William Terpstra will run cross country and be on the track and field team at Calvin College, while Olivia Schuringa will play basketball at Trinity Christian. Schuringa was an all-conference pick her junior and senior years.

Emily DeBoer will play volleyball at North Park University, while Tracy Westra will play volleyball at Hope College. DeBoer was all-conference this past season, while Westra was all-conference her junior and senior years and earned an MVP honor her senior year.

Xavier Ross will compete in track and field at Concordia University-Nebraska. He has an all-conference selection to his credit and won a sectional title.
