Keith Anden Achepohl, 83, of Eugene, Oregon, formerly of Elmhurst, passed quietly in his home surrounded by his family on February 24, 2018. He was born April 11, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, raised his family in Iowa, and lived a rich life as an educator, mentor, artist, traveler and collector. Preceded in death by his wife Patricia, brothers Grant and Allen. He is survived by his brother Gary (Hilde), daughter Hanna, twin sons Adam (Cindy) and Jared (Jennifer), and life partner Jeffrey. There will be a public reception Sunday, April 22, 2018 between 1 pm and 4 pm at Lensing Funeral Home, 210 Holiday Rd, Coralville, Ia., to allow friends, family and all others to celebrate the life, creativity and legacy of Keith. A reception was held Sunday, March 18 at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, Eugene, Ore.
