Addison Police Reports

Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

Feb. 12

Jesus Flores-Contreras, 38, of Addison, was charged with DUI and no insurance subsequent to a traffic stop in the 800 block of W. Fullerton at around 9:09 p.m.

 

Feb. 11

A 44-year-old Addison woman was charged with domestic battery in the 500 block of Green Oaks Court at around 10:56 p.m. Police said the woman struck a victim on the back with a golf club.

 

Villa Park

 

Feb. 10

Stacy E. Enison, 31, of Hanover Park, was charged with battery and resisting arrest in the 900 block of N. Yale at around 9:21 a.m.

Garrett D. Salvino, 44, of Villa Park, was charged with retail theft at a store sometime between 2:21 and 3:32 p.m.

 

Feb. 8

Battery was reported near North and Ardmore at around 2 a.m. Police said a complainant advised he had been battered by unknown suspects while walking in the area.

 

Feb. 7

DeCarlos C. Armstrong, 38, of Bellwood, was charged with two counts of battery at around 8:56 p.m. June 20, 2017. The original complainant and arrest warrant were issued Feb. 7.

Theft was reported at Walmart. Police said that between 5 p.m. and 7:13 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a purse from underneath the Comcast promotional event table in the electronics department.

 

Feb. 6

Gustavo Garcia, 21, of Villa Park, was issued a citation for possession of cannabis at around 5:19 p.m.

 

Feb. 5

A 24-year-old Villa Park resident and a 20-year-old Villa Park resident were each charged with two counts of domestic battery in the 400 block of N. Iowa at around 7:49 a.m.

Retail theft was reported in the 400 block of N. Ardmore at around 10:22 p.m. Police said an unknown male suspect removed a bottle of liquor from the shelf, and then left the store with the item without paying for it.

Criminal damage was reported in the 400 block of N. Ardmore at around 7:44 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect damaged a door knob of the rear entrance of a residence.

A male juvenile from Villa Park was issued a citation for possession of cannabis near North and Kramer at around 4:49 p.m.

 

Feb. 4

Donnell R. Pitman, Jr., 42, of Addison, was charged with aggravated DUI while license was revoked, carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving while license revoked, improper use of registration and no insurance in the 300 block of W. North at around 2:03 a.m.

Edward J. Soriano, 47, of Villa Park, was charged with DUI, resisting a police officer, obstructing a police officer, operating a vehicle while using an electronic communication device, improper lane usage, failure to signal when required and no insurance near St. Charles and Harvard at around 9:31 a.m.

Retail theft was reported at a store at around 4:31 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect attempted to return a suitcase. When a vendor refused, the suspect reportedly stole a similar, but larger, suitcase from the vendor and left the suitcase they wanted to return without paying for the larger suitcase.
