171117027501 270 W North Ave Fraud Occurred: 1730 – 1800 hrs on 11/17                                    Unknown offender used a credit card to make a purchase at Target.  Owner of the card received text alert advising the use of the card while they were shopping at Discovery Clothing.  Card owner was unaware their wallet was missing until they received the alert.
171117027538 543 E St Charles Fraud Occurred: 1453 hrs on 11/17                                                 Unknown offender charged $156.16 on a credit card that was reported lost.
171117027516 200 Blk of N Yale Identity Theft Occurred: 1200 hrs on 12/20/2016                                        Unknown offender used a resident’s information to open a U.S. Cellular account.
171118027607 700 Blk N Villa Fraud Occurred: 1800 hrs on 11/17                                                 Unknown offender fraudulently obtained bank information and transferred money from the victim’s account.  Victim contacted their bank and reported the fraud.
171118027640 225 W Roosevelt Attempted Fraud Occurred: 1336 hrs on 11/18                                                 Unknown male and female offender presented fraudulent identification to the sales representative for the purchase of a vehicle.  Employees contacted the police and the offenders left the dealership.
