Willowbrook girls volleyball team has tough week

Conference, cross-over losses bring record to 9-17

The Willowbrook girls volleyball team dropped a 25-19, 25-17 West Suburban Conference Gold Division match to Hinsdale South recently.

Charlotte Dewyer had two kills and six digs. Katie Pettinger had six assists, while Taylor Balsitis had three kills and one dig. Payton Ceh had one kill and five digs. Jenna Krenzel had two aces and three digs.

Caliegh Tuma had one ace and one dig. Kaitlyn Karcz had two kills, while Katelyn McCann had two kills, one assist and 12 digs. Emma Barrington had two kill, while Marissa Marcello had two kills, three assists and two digs. Jessica Ragucci had two kills and one dig.

The loss dropped Willowbrook to 2-3 in WSC Gold play.

The Warriors also lost to York 25-15, 25-11 in a WSC crossover match. The loss put Willowbrook at 9-17 overall.
