Lebanese Festival to showcase culture and cuisine

 Our Lady of Lebanon in Lombard will be holding their annual Lebanese Food Festival September 1-3, 2017.

This three-day outdoor and indoor festival features: authentic Lebanese food made from old-world recipes; cultural beverages, including Lebanese beer, wine and coffee; around–the-clock entertainment and dancing, with famous Lebanese singers, live bands, DJs, belly dancers and performances by the Lebanese folklore dance troupe.  There will be games and activities, including board games and flavored hookah smoking; children and family activities, face painting, moon jump, dance lessons, crafts, carnival games, and raffles with the grand prize of $3,000.

This unique, tasty, entertaining and educational experience of Lebanon’s traditions shines a spotlight on the beauty and hospitality of Middle Eastern culture.  It will take place at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, 950 N.
