On Tuesday, August 8, 2017, School District 2 Superintendent, Dr. James Stelter presented a check for $3,067.54 to Village President Frank DeSimone who accepted the check on behalf of the Bensenville Youth Coalition. The funds were raised from a carnival held in downtown Bensenville by District 2 in the middle of May, 2017. The event brought thousands of guests to downtown Bensenville.

The Youth Coalition created “BWell Bensenville” which is a community-wide initiative whose goal is to encourage Bensenville’s young people and families to achieve healthier lifestyles by promoting the activities and resources available within the community.

This year’s B-Well Walkathon will be on September 16 starting at 10 a.m. at Village Hall and will end at Redmond Recreational Complex.
