The Bensenville Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

July 19, 7:38 p.m. in the 100 block of Church Road, a complainant reported that two suspects battered him and took his wallet. This case is under investigation.  BV17007424

July 18, 7:32 a.m. in the 1100 block of S. York Road, an employee reported sometime overnight, an unknown suspect(s) stole 150 plastic soda holders from the loading dock. This case is under investigation. BV17007352

July 18, 6:28 p.m. in the 700 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported an unknown suspect stole a set of sockets from his toolbox while he was working on a car. This case is under investigation. BV17007375

July 17, 1:21 a.m. in the 400 block of N. York Road, a complainant reported she found two bullet holes on the east side of the building. One was in the aluminum siding and one was in a window panel of the building. This case is under investigation.  BV17007316

July 17, 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Main Street, a complainant reported that, while using the ATM, an unknown suspect began screaming at her and driving his car closer to hers. BV17007336

July 17, 9:09 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St, a complainant reported the sexual abuse of a juvenile by a family member. This case has been referred to DuPage Children’s Center for further investigation. BV17007339

July 17, 11:10 p.m. in the 600 block of E. George St., a complainant reported that when he realized the female masseuse that he paid $200 for a massage was a male, he demanded his money back. The masseuse refused and a fight ensued between them and another male who accompanied the masseuse. This case is under investigation. BV17007340

July 16, 8:20 a.m. in the 200 block of S. Barron St., a complainant reported that a swimming pool located in her yard was cut and damaged. She stated she believes she knows the suspect. This case is under investigation. BV17007243

July 15, 8:55 p.m. in the 700 block of E. Grand Ave., a complainant reported her laundry was taken by an unknown suspect(s) from the hotel laundry room. This case is under investigation. BV17007203

July 15, 11:35 p.m. in the 400 block of W. Irving Park Road, a complainant reported a known suspect battered and robbed him. This case is under investigation. BV17007211

July 15, 10:19 a.m. in the 100 block of S. Addison, a complainant reported while on vacation two basement windows were broken BV17006952. He then reported an unknown suspect(s) took several items from his home. This case is under investigation. BV17007168

July 14, 8:44 a.m. in the 100 block of E. George St., officers assisted a DuPage County Deputy with an eviction and arrest.  BV17007118

July 14, 9:32 p.m. in the 100 block of May Street, a 29-year-old Bensenville man was arrested for domestic battery. BV17007146

July 13, 12:25 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported that another juvenile sexually abused her juvenile child. This case has been referred to Du Page County Children’s Center for further investigation.   BV17007078

July 13, 7:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of S. York Road, the loss prevention manager reported an unknown suspect took approximately 13 bottles of liquor from the store without paying for them. This case is under investigation. BV17007097
