On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, the Village of Bensenville held a swearing in ceremony for new Trustee, Nicholas Panicola Jr. Nicholas joins Village President Frank DeSimone, Village Clerk Nancy Quinn, Trustees Rosa Carmona, Ann Franz, Agnieszka “Annie” Jaworska, Mclane Lomax and Armando Perez.

The appointing of Nicholas Panicola Jr. relates to last month’s election where former Trustee, Frank DeSimone was elected Village President. This created a vacant Trustee spot that needed to be filled, resulting in DeSimone appointing Panicola to take his place.

Nicholas Panicola Jr. is a 24 year resident of Bensenville, who grew up in the Village and is aware of the number of changes that the Village has experienced. He graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science. He is currently an Assistant Vice President of Loan Operations at Pan American Bank and Trust and is responsible for managing the booking and servicing of a 285 million dollar loan portfolio.

As a Trustee, Panicola wants to make sure the Village can efficiently provide services to the residents in order to improve our neighborhoods and make sure that the needs of our residents are always put first.

Village President Frank DeSimone is confident that Panicola’s optimistic attitude and capabilities make him a valuable addition to the board.

“Nicholas’s positive attitude and unique experiences from growing up in Bensenville, provide a unique perspective for our community,” he said.
