Police Reports

Area Police Departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that subjects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

Addison

April 19

A 50-year-old Addison man was charged with domestic battery in the 800 block of W. Central Road in Arlington Heights at around 1:48 a.m. Officers responded to Northwest Community Hospital to investigate a domestic battery report. Police said the suspect struck the victim on the left side of her chin with a closed fist.

April 17

Police said Victor H. Flores, 25, of Chicago, was transported to the Addison Police Department from Cook County Jail for processing on an original warrant for a traffic offense.

April 16

A 35-year-old Addison woman was charged with domestic battery in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 9:21 p.m. Police said the suspect punched the victim on the head several times.

Villa Park

April 15

• Johnathan M. Caldera, 25, of Villa Park, was charged with battery near Kenilworth and Myrtle at around 1:20 a.m.

• Police said an unknown suspect struck a light pole in the 300 block of E. Kenilworth at around 11:41 p.m. and then drove away. The light pole fell on three other vehicles and damaged them.

• A male juvenile from Villa Park was charged with resisting a police officer at around 10:05 a.m.

April 14

Michael S. Johnson, 32, of Milwaukee, was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, no insurance and operating a vehicle while registration is suspended.

April 13

• Robbery was reported in the 900 block of W. North Ave. at around 11:23 p.m. Police said five unknown suspects battered a victim and stole his iPhone 7 and cash.

• Police said an unknown female suspect stole a victim’s purse from a shopping cart at a store at around 12:32 p.m.

April 12

• Tiarra A. Alvarado, 18, and Daniel J. Rivera, 19, both of Villa Park, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol in the 300 block of N. Iowa at around 11:09 p.m.

• Cesar G. Cifuentes, 37, of Bensenville, was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, no valid registration, improper use of registration and no insurance in the 300 block of W. North Ave. at around 6:23 p.m.

• A 22-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery and unlawful possession of cannabis in the 100 block of W. Madison at around 9:47 a.m.

April 11-April 12

Burglary to a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of N. Lincoln. Police said that between 5:30 p.m. April 11 and 7:30 a.m. April 12, an unknown suspect stole audio equipment from a vehicle parked in the lot.
