Park District holds open house for public input

Feedback sought for Vision 2020 Focus on the Future

The Elmhurst Park District is hosting two more open house events to garner public input about Vision 2020, Focus on the Future, the Park Board’s in-depth comprehensive and strategic planning process. There will be two events held on Thursday, May 4. One session will be held at the Wagner Community Center, 615 No. West Ave. from 9-11:30 a.m. The second open house takes place at Courts Plus, 185 So. West Avenue from 5-7 p.m.

Resident are encouraged to join the Park District for the third and final public open house meetings to discuss planning for the future of the Elmhurst Park District. Participants can drop by at any time to provide feedback at interactive stations and react to drafted strategies for the Vision 2020 plan, identified at previous sessions.

An online survey will also be available for residents to provide feedback, even if they cannot make one of the open house events.
