Over 220 people packed the Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Hall Wednesday March 22, to support a fundraiser for Misericordia Home. Located in Chicago, Misericordia offers care and support for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities.

The 12th annual “Wild Game Dinner” presented by Navarro Catering, exceeded last year’s record and made $27,560.00, which is the largest amount to date.

As Navarro (25 year Elmhurst resident) is a member of the Knights of Columbus he reported his fellow Knights and friends supported this fundraiser through monetary donations, prize donations, purchasing a ticket to dinner, and service to the event. More women than ever before attended.

“With many thanks to old and new friends, Misericordia was thrilled to receive this check.” Navarro said. ” I could not have accomplished this goal without everyone’s help.”
