Dist. 4 welcomes new School Board member

Frangidakis to fill vacancy left by Triantafillos

Zack Frangidakis was elected as the newest member of the Addison School District 4 Board of Education in the Consolidated Election on April 4, 2017.

Frangidakis has lived in Addison since 2005.  He and his wife have two young daughters, one of whom is currently an ASD4 student.  Frangidakis earned a Bachelors degree in Information and Decision Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and he is employed as a Technology Systems Administrator in a K-8 school district.   He has 15 years of experience working in school and supporting the technology needs of students and staff and he also volunteers at his church supporting student technology needs.

Frangidakis will be taking the seat of Taso Triantafillos, who has served on the District 4 Board since 2013. Both Triantafillos and Frangidakis work in the technology field and have emphasized their desire to keep schools up to date with technology initiatives that will benefit student education.

“We are grateful to Taso for his dedication to the students and taxpayers through his service on the Board of Education over the past 4 years,” said Dave Williams, Board of Education President, “and we will look forward to having the opportunity to work with Zack to continue to provide the best educational experience we can for Addison’s children.”
