Bensenville Police Reports

The Bensenville Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

April 5, 12:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of Argyle Street, the maintenance person reported an unknown suspect is inserting foreign objects in the washing machine to obtain services without payment. This case is under investigation. BV17003260

April 5, 4:06 p.m. in the 400 block of S. Evergreen St., a complainant reported an unknown suspect took his cellphone from an unsecured locker. This case is under investigation. BV17003262

April 5, 9:31 p.m. in the 1100 block of S. York Road, a store employee reported two unknown suspects took groceries from the store without paying. This case is under investigation. BV17003270

April 3, 12:40 a.m. in the 200 block of W. Grand Ave., Jesse C. Ingram, 19, of Bensenville, was issued a village ordinance citation for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A minor was cited for possession of cannabis and another minor was given a citation for curfew and possession of alcohol. BV17003183

April 3, 8:10 a.m. in the 400 block of Park Street, a complainant reported that an unknown suspect damaged her parked vehicle. BV17003189

April 3, 1:11 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., Ashley Fritze, 25, of Franklin Park, was arrested for an in-state warrant. BV17002462

April 3, 9:14 p.m. in the 300 block of S. Church Road, a complainant reported her boyfriend missing since March 31. Information entered into LEADS. BV17003208

April 2, 3:32 a.m. in the 1200 block of W. Devon Ave., Alan G. Hernandez-Hernandez, 24, of Bensenville, was arrested for criminal trespass to property and disorderly conduct. BV17003152

April 2, 2:35 p.m. in the 1200 block of Central Avenue, a complainant reported an unknown suspect posing as a contractor distracted her while another unknown suspect entered her house and took a small safe. This case is under investigation. BV17003163

April 2, 7:04 p.m. in the 1100 block of David Drive, a 23-year-old Bensenville man was arrested for domestic battery. BV17003171

March 31, 4:11 p.m. in the 1200 block of W. Irving Park Road, Ivan Cardenas, 35, of Bensenville, was arrested for four outstanding in-state warrants, driving with a revoked license, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. BV17003093

March 31, 4:29 a.m. in the 700 W. block of Main Street, a complainant reported his 15-year-old juvenile sibling left the house for an unknown location in Chicago. The juvenile’s information has been entered into LEADS as missing. The case is under investigation. BV17003078

March 30, 2:11 p.m. in the 300 block of Judson Street, a complainant reported that a known suspect(s) took her mail from her mailbox while she stayed in her vehicle. BV17003058

March 29, 9:40 a.m. near Green Street and N. York Road, Deonta Turner, 23, of Chicago, was arrested for driving without a license, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, reckless conduct and various traffic offenses. BV17003019
