The Bensenville Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that subjects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

March 14, 9:16 a.m. in the 200 block of E. George St., a complainant reported a withdrawal using his ATM card was made without his authorization. BV17002512

March 13, 2:16 a.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., Jairo Cifuentes-Lopez, 22, of Bensenville, was arrested for three failure to appear warrants. BV17002432

March 13, 2017 11:54 a.m. in the 300 block of Judson Street, a complainant reported her vehicle was taken from her driveway by a known suspect. This case is under investigation. BV17002445

March 13, 6:13 p.m. in the 200 block of Miner Street, a complainant reported that the mother of his child battered him and took his vehicle without his authorization. The case is under investigation. BV17002462 & BV17002470

March 13, 6:28 p.m. in the 100 block of Daniel Drive, a complainant reported that she gave $3,250 to a known suspect under false pretense. This case is under investigation. BV17002464

March 13, 6:30 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported he has been receiving text messages from a known subject who currently has an order of protection against him. BV17002465

March 12, 3:33 a.m. in the 200 block of W. Grand Ave., Roque Gomez, 34, of Bensenville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. BV17002414

March 12, 10:20 a.m. in the 1-100 block of W. Main St., a complainant reported receiving three threatening text messages from an unknown suspect. This case is under investigation. BV17002421

March 11, 9:15 a.m. in the 400 block of W. Hillside Drive, the building owner reported someone pried open the back door of the building and stole the top of the clothes dryer which contained a coin box. This case is under investigation. BV17002382

March 11, 5:11 p.m. in the 1300 block of W. Irving Park Road, Alejandro Baltazar-Pedro, 37, of Bensenville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver’s license, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor. BV17002404

March 10, 5:08 p.m. in the 600 block of S York Road, a non-responsive 53-year-old female resident was transported to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.  No trauma or other suspicious signs were noted during the preliminary investigation.  The cause of death is pending a toxicology report.  This case is under investigation.   BV17002403

March 10, 5: 52 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. Irving Park Road, a complainant reported wiring $400 in cash to an unknown suspect after receiving death threats. This case is under investigation. BV17002350

March 10, 8:50 p.m. near W. Main St. and S. York Road, a suspicious vehicle resulted in the arrest of a subject for possession of a controlled substance. The case is under investigation. BV17002358

March 10, 9:27 p.m. in the 200 block of S. Barron St., a 46-year-old Bensenville man was arrested for domestic battery. BV17002360

March 9, 12:51 p.m. in the 100 block of W. Main St., a bank manager reported a known suspect attempted to cash a stolen personal check. This case is under investigation. BV17002313

March 9, 1:09 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported she received a call from a relative requesting money. When she refused, the relative verbally threatened her. This case is under investigation. BV17002314
