Bensenville Police Reports

 

The Bensenville Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

March 8, 3:33 a.m. near Park Street and E. Pine St., Ulyses Benitez-Valdez, 18, of Bensenville, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to yield at stop sign. BV17002241

March 7, 9:12 a.m. in the 600 block of County Line Road, a complainant reported an ex-employee was performing work using the company name without authorization. The case is under investigation. BV17002210

March 7, 3:35 p.m. in the 100 block of S. York Road, a complainant reported he made a purchase and left his wallet on the counter. The customer behind him then took the wallet telling the clerk it was his. This case is under investigation. BV17002218

March 6, 12:40 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported she is receiving text messages from a known suspect who is prohibited from contacting her. The case is under investigation. BV17002170

March 6, 3:27 p.m. in the 100 block of E. George St., two juveniles were involved in an altercation after school. Both juveniles were taken home and released to a parent. BV17002175

March 5, 1:10 a.m. in the 700 block of E. Grand Ave., Sergio Ruiz, 20, of Northlake, was issued a village ordinance citation for possession of cannabis. Erick R. Moreno, 20, of Northlake, was issued two village ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. BV17002135

March 5, 2:50 a.m. in the 1-100 block of W. Grand Ave., Felix Vasquez-Garcia, 19, of Bensenville, was issued three village ordinance citations for assault, disorderly conduct and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Edgar Velasquez-Garcia, 22, of Bensenville, was issued three village ordinance citations for assault, disorderly conduct and providing alcohol to a minor. BV17002138

March 5, 6:46 p.m. in the 1-100 block of S. Center St., Martin Hernandez, 38, of Bensenville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident. BV17002156

March 4, 12:31 p.m. in the 700 block of W. Irving Park Road, Ramon Sanchez, 37, of Bensenville, was arrested for retail theft. BV17002121

March 3, 8:50 a.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., complainants reported being fearful regarding posts made on a blog of which they felt they are being targeted. The case is under investigation. BV17002076

March 2, 10:01 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Mason St., Kyle J. Manning was arrested for an in-state warrant. BV17002049

March 2, 10:37 a.m. in the 700 block of Birginal Drive, a complainant reported her vehicle was taken from the lot by an unknown suspect(s). The case is under investigation. BV17002050
