Elmhurst Trolley at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Join the fun for the 21st Annual Elmhurst St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday March 4th starting at noon. The parade will begin at the intersection of Wilson Street and Spring Road and continue north on Spring Road in Elmhurst. The Grand Marshal of the Parade will be Elmhurst Mayor Steven M. Morley.

New to the parade this year is the Elmhurst Trolley with trolley service before and after the parade. Hop on at any of the six trolley stops from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. & post parade (approx. 1:30 p.m.) – 5:30 p.m. Trolley service will stop during the parade. The six trolley stops are: York Street & Park Avenue, York Street & Schiller Street, Second Street & Addison Street, Cottage Hill Avenue & Virginia Street, Spring Road & the Illinois Prairie Path, and Vallette Street & York Street.

The Explore Elmhurst Summer Trolley program will be back in 2017, running June 2nd through September 16th. The trolley will connect 3 business districts: Spring Road, York & Vallette, and City Centre. The trolley will be in service on Fridays (12 noon – 12 a.m.) and Saturdays (12 noon – 12 a.m.). Once again, trolley riders can enter to win exciting weekly prizes donated by local merchants and organizations.

The trolley will also make appearances this Spring at Art in the Park and at the Memorial Day Parade.
