Bensenville Police Reports

The Bensenville Police Department recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

Feb. 14, 12:52 p.m. in the 200 block of Blackhawk Terrace, a complainant reported an unknown suspect made four fraudulent transactions to his account. The case is under investigation. BV17001471

Feb. 14, 3:08 p.m. in the 400 block of May Street, a complainant reported she was a victim of fraud for $560. She attempted to purchase a dog through an ad on social media. The case is under investigation. BV17001477

Feb. 14, 6 p.m. in the 500 block of E. Jefferson St., a 55-year-old Bensenville man was arrested for domestic battery. BV17001486

Feb. 14, 6:35 p.m. in the 300 block of S. Mason St., a complainant reported that a vehicle struck her garage door causing it to fall on to her vehicle inside the garage. The case is under investigation. BV17001487

Feb. 14, 10:51 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Addison Road, Eric T. Huster, 20, of Elmhurst, was issued two village ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. BV17001497

Feb. 13, 10:06 a.m. in the 1100 block of S. Center St., a complainant reported that an unknown suspect stole his vehicle plates. The case is under investigation. BV17001419

Feb. 13, 11 a.m. in the 500 block of Industrial Drive, the complainant reported welding cable was cut and stolen off his truck by an unknown suspect(s). The case is under investigation. BV17001421

Feb. 13, 12:07 p.m. in the 1000 block of Fairway Drive, a complainant reported 31 checks were cashed without authorization by an unknown suspect(s) in the amount of $6,905. The case is under investigation. BV1700142

Feb. 12, 2:14 p.m. in the 200 block of Judson Street, an individual was confronted by three suspects in front of his house in reference to the fight listed above which occurred the night before. All parties declined to sign complaints. BV17001401 & BV17001392

Feb. 11, 8:56 p.m. in the 600 block of John Street, Michel Gonzalez-Marquez, 21, of Bellwood, was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession drug equipment and illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor. BV17001386

Feb. 11, 11:26 p.m. in the 200 block of Judson Street, a battery occurred between mutual combatants of which one claimed it to be self-defense. Both parties declined to sign complaints. BV17001392

Feb. 10, 4:23 p.m. near N. Addison St. and W. Irving Park Road, a complainant reported that an unknown suspect punched the side mirror of her vehicle. The case is under investigation. BV17001342

Feb. 9, 10:34 a.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a complainant reported an unknown suspect was requesting money and threatening his life for payment of pornographic images that were sent to him without his authorization. The case is under investigation. BV17001293

Feb. 9, 12:52 p.m. in the 1-100 block of W. Irving Park Road, a complainant reported an unknown suspect attempted to obtain money from the victim under fraudulent circumstances. The text message said that if she did not pay $1,200, her kidnapped husband would be killed. The husband had not been kidnapped. The case is under investigation. BV17001300

Feb. 9, 1:33 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Ellis St., a complainant advised that an unknown suspect had called and attempted to obtain information about the company. The employee was suspicious that it was related to an unrelated check fraud case that occurred last fall. The case is under investigation. BV17001301

Feb. 8, 9:15 a.m. in the 300 block of E. Green St., a 45-year-old Bensenville woman turned herself in for charges of domestic battery and reckless discharge of a firearm. BV17000606
