Frances A. Schweihs, 99

Frances A. Schweihs, nee Essig, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016, in her Villa Park home surrounded by her family. She was 99 years of age. She is survived by her children John (Lorraine) Schweihs, Bill (the late Louise A.) Schweihs, Sr. Kathleen Schweihs CSA, Nancy (Paul) Kinas, Julie (David) Israelson, Joyce (Tom) Molinaro; grandchildren Ron (Lisa) Schweihs, Michelle Kinas (Carolyn Tufano), Andrea (Jimmy) Hall, Tony Kinas, David, Sharon and Christine Molinaro, and Jesse Israelson; great-grandchildren Stephanie, Nicholas, Brian and Nicole Schweihs, and Mason Hall; great-great-grandchild PaisleeGrace Schweihs. She was predeceased by her husband John R. Schweihs Sr. and an infant daughter Judith Frances Schweihs. Frances was the daughter of William and Katherine Essig (nee Wlk) in Melrose Park, she was a resident of Villa Park since 1927 and active member of St. Alexander Catholic Church and member of the parish school’s third graduation class in 1930. She was always devoted to her family and extended family and faithful friend to countless people, and a joy and a blessing to each and all of us who have been graced to know her. Funeral Mass was held on May 19, 2016, at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. William E. Thieme, 86

William E. Thieme, of Villa Park, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was 86 years of age. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. Beloved husband of Nola, nee Nix, for 62 years. Loving father of Michael, James (Mary-Jo), Norine (William) Urban, David (Tammy), Joseph (Cheryl), William (Chris) and Ann (John) LaBarge; dearest grandpa of 26 and great papa of 15; dear brother of the late Walter, Lorraine and Jean Maida; fond uncle and great uncle of many. Thieme was a lifelong member of IBEW Local #134. Active member of St. Alexander Church. Funeral Mass was held on May 24, 2016, at St. Alexander Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park.
