Howard A. Jansen, of Bensenville formerly of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at the age of 89. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Beloved husband of the late Veronica “Roni” Jansen, nee McBride; loving father of Stephen (Susan), Barbara Jansen, David (Donna), Gary (Annie), Janet (Randy), Robert (Kristen), William (Sandra) and Sharon (Mike) Schuchardt. Proud grandfather of 18, great grandpa of two. Visitation was held at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst on Sunday, January 24, followed by Funeral Mass on Monday, January 25 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment Private.
